Light Within Tee - Charcoal

There used to be a lot of moons in my work because someone called me their moon goddess. I believed in them and would tell them in kind how they were the sun and I was reflecting their light.

Last year I realized how this wasn’t true. I am my own source of light and I will shine as vibrantly and loudly as I please.

The snake is because I’m year of the snake and it’s protecting Bunbun sleeping in the peony. I will protect my own peace and I will strike if necessary.

Last year and this year really had me examining what I want for myself and what a life I wanted looked like. I’m still reconfiguring but no matter what it is, I’m not afraid of moving forward because I have my own back.

I hope those that wear this design know they are a shining beacon of light, hope, and beauty and protected by resilience and tenacity.
